Stakeholder engagement & Communication in the in silico medicine field


The second EDITH Ecosystem meeting, held in Amsterdam on 15-16th July 2024, consolidated the results of a wide range of discussions, public consultations and expert inputs to capture additional comments, questions and inputs defined from the entire ecosystem. Moreover, it informed the ecosystem of progress made on the Virtual Human Twin (VHT) roadmap and proof-of-concept EDITH infrastructure, to obtain input on the last open elements in the VHT roadmap and to start the process of ecosystem validation for the VHT roadmap and its final recommendations.

The event not only moved towards the conclusion of the work performed by the EDITH consortium, expert advisors and the entire ecosystem, but it was also a great chance to dive into many key topics surrounding the VHT and its stakeholders with various fruitful breakout sessions like “Digital Health Economics”, “Standards”, “Europe-Americas-Asia/Pacific collaboration” and more.

VPHi experts held a session on the pivotal role of Stakeholder Engagement & Communication in the in silico medicine field, showcasing the main activities conducted in the In Silico World project and highlighting the key action points we need to take to effectively involve all the actors of the ecosystem.
